Did you know the Rhodope Mountains are considered by Indian meditation schools as one of the 7 sacred mountains on the Earth. However with mountain biking, fishing, hiking, pony trekking and generally enjoying life to the full there’s plenty more to experience than to meditate.
The resort is blessed by natural splendour; you will find a great variety of plants, animals, birds and minerals; wild spruce forests and wonderful rock formations. And at forest nook all this and more is right is on your doorstep (literally – your patio overlooks this!)
But Pamp (as she’s known to her friends) also offers extremely good value for money with a cost of living at around a third of other European resorts; a beer costs around 60p, a bottle of wine £2, get a freshly baked Pizza for £1and if you have a glass too much, for the morning after a coffee costs 50p.The chairlift remains open for mountain biking, trekking and hiking and the pass prices are extremely reasonable.
And there is nightlife to suit all tastes; from a traditional Bulgarian folk dance to laid back piano bars to partying the night away in one of Pamporovo’s many bars. There are also many fine restaurants in Pamporovo specialising in local cuisine, with a three course meal starting from £5! Your certainly won’t break the bank. |
